Customer Support (Post-sales support)

  1. Front line point of contact for all support related enquires (via phone and email).

Position Description:

Videology Imaging Solutions inc. is a stable 20 year old International Imaging Company that is poised for growth. We have 35 people in the USA, 16 in the NL and 3 in India. We need an energetic, hands-on Sales Leader who is effective on the front line where there is plenty of action and new products to design or deliver. We have some of the biggest and best known companies as our OEM customers. Design and manufacture of imaging cameras, platforms and software is shared with our Dutch facility. We need you to be based in our facility in RI. An ambitious person could pursue a fast track opening toward being a company leader and business director. The successful applicant must be comfortable and capable of learning all the complexities and nuances of our business. In order to do so, he or she must be willing to acquiesce to higher management during an extensive training period. Our growth will come from adding more value to the current customer’s products as well as from more of the traditional imaging design-in wins. Our engineering group is staffing up to handle it on an international level. Most sales are a Business to Business type of sale with a fair amount of engineering interaction. It is consultative long term selling. Product design-ins typically last about 5-7 years. This position requires a minimum of 25% National travel, much of it on the West Coast. It should always be arranged for optimum productivity and lowest cost. You will set up your own customer visits to actively demonstrate our products. Make formal presentations of our company capability and history. Oversee prospect details & quotes in ACT database. Some project management oversight and coordination with our technical and logistic staff are needed for the larger sales. You will run a program as needed. The right person has an innate ability to acquire and maintain profitable projects, understand full costing techniques, the competitive climate, and especially to be sensitive to a prospects inner company dynamics to know where and how to negotiate pricing in a most profitable manner.
