Kravik, recognizes work ethic, commitment to quality, ingenuity, innovation, integrity, meticulousness, engineering acumen, an entrepreneurial spirit and a comprehensive solution-oriented approach to problem solving. Gjerning was nominated by his Northwire peers for the award.
Gjerning, a resident of Wisconsin, began working at Northwire in 1975 as a cable operator. He was later promoted to extruder operator, quality assurance technician and agency compliance engineer, his current title. Additionally, the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) recognizes Harold as a Certified Testing Technician. "Thirty-five years ago, Harold Gjerning teamed with my grandfather, Ormund Kravik, who recognized and valued Harold’s extraordinary attention to detail and his commitment to quality and engineering excellence. Harold plays an integral role in our industry-leading turnaround time and has served our customers in achieving the vast scope of national and international standards, agency compliance and regulatory and environmental approvals.
