Internet Marketing Strategies to be Featured at Modern Marketing Conference
AIA Posted 06/01/2000
Internet Marketing will be one of the key sessions featured at the Modern Marketing Conference, to be held July 24-25, 2000, in New York City. The Conference is sponsored by the Automation Technologies Council, umbrella organization for the Robotic Industries Association and Automated Imaging Association.
"It seems like almost everyone is struggling to maximize their opportunities on the web," said Marcy Lehtinen, Marketing & PR Manager of the Robotic Industries Association. "There is definitely a high degree of interest in this topic."
During the session, Lori Dustin, Principal of freshmarketing.net, will use examples from the industrial automation industry to help attendees learn:
- How to determine who their target customers are.
- How to know their competition better than their competition knows them.
- The importance of branding.
- The importance of consistent messaging and communications.
- How to understand the return on the dollars they spend on Internet-related marketing.
Dustin co-founded freshmarketing.net following 13 years in high-technology marketing, sales and business development. Previously, she served as both Vice President for Marketing and Vice President for Sales and Business Development at Narrative Communications (makers of Enliven). Dustin also worked in numerous marketing, sales and business development roles for Data Translation.
In addition to Internet Marketing, the Conference offers sessions on Lead Generation, Competitive Intelligence, Creating and Delivering Powerful Presentations, Space Advertising, Trade Show Strategies, and Determining Where to Spend Your Marketing Dollars. Many of the speakers have spent years working directly at, or with, industrial automation companies.
Following a successful first year in 1999, the Modern Marketing Conference has been made an annual event. It is the only conference designed exclusively for industrial automation marketers.
