WOBURN, MA -- IDS Imaging Development Systems, a global leader in medical vision and machine vision technology, will be highlighting for the first time in North America its uEye 3.0 USB CP camera line at The Vision Show in Boston, MA, May 8-10, 2012.
"Being the largest machine vision tradeshow in America, IDS selected The Vision Show as the launching pad for our USB 3.0 cameras," said Daniel Seiler, Business Development Manager for IDS. "Not only does The Vision Show give IDS the industry's full attention for this game-changing camera line, but it also provides an important opportunity to meet with current and potential customers to show them firsthand the advantages of USB 3.0."
IDS USB 3.0 uEye CP cameras are among the world's first to feature the breakthrough USB 3.0 standard. USB 3.0 delivers a staggering ten-fold increase in data rate compared to USB 2.0, as well as a four-fold increase over GigE, making these new IDS cameras ideal for demanding multi-camera systems and 3D applications. Amazingly compact at only 29 x 29 x 29mm and weighing a mere 46 grams, the cameras are also perfect for any vision applications where space is at a premium. Depending on applications requirements, customers can choose from either e2v or Aptina CMOS sensors ranging from VGA to 5-megapixel resolution.
IDS encourages attendees and media to witness the power of USB 3.0 at its booth #216 in the Hynes Convention Center.
