FRAMOS Image Sensor Tech Days Debuts in North America
Framos Technologies Inc. Posted 08/30/2017
Ottawa - For the first time, the popular FRAMOS Image Sensor Tech Days event will be held in North America on October 11, 2017 in San Francisco. Co-located with Smithers Apex Image Sensors Americas (Oct 12-13) FRAMOS Image Sensor Tech Days feature exclusive presentations from leading sensor technology experts like SONY Japan, Rhonda Software, EOI Tech and Pyxalis on current development and future innovations.
FRAMOS Image Sensor Tech Days provides the latest technical news on image sensors, customization and image performance. The event offers the ideal platform for camera developers to share information and exchange ideas. Presentations on image quality vs manufacturing quality will help to understand current industry developments, innovations and solutions to key problems imaging engineers and camera developers are facing.
“Suppliers were able to answer technical questions right away and really provided helpful hints” said an R&D engineer as an attendee of the European version of the FRAMOS event in May.
In San Francisco, SONY Semiconductor Solutions Japan will present deep insights on their new Global Shutter sensors for Machine Vision and will provide a live demonstration. In addition, SONY will also present their new sensor models for consumer products. Rhonda Software will explain how to reach higher camera and picture quality through optimized manufacturing and quality control at the same BOM cost. EOI Tech will open a discussion on methods to push the limits of image sensor performance. Customization experts from Pyxalis will show efficient ways to get individualized image sensors for specific applications. Beyond the talks FRAMOS will feature many events that will provide attendees the opportunity to network.
The FRAMOS Image Sensor Tech Days will be held October 11, 2017 at the Parc 55 by Hilton at Union Square in San Francisco. To attend, register online at https://www.image-sensors.com/register/events for a price of 349 USD. Attendees of Smithers Apex’ Image Sensors Americas get a 15% discount.
