Interested in helping a growing company build a continuous delivery system for their software development team? This position involves imagining, developing, and deploying tools and processes that enable our team to work faster with less risk, i.e., more reliably deploy features, changes, and bug fixes sooner, with higher quality. It will focus on automating and enhancing software building, installer packing, unit testing, integration testing, and bug and feature tracking. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of DevOps systems, preferably gained from building, deploying, and maintaining them, coupled with a keen interest in developing one.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coding/tooling and automation of processing for DevOps as a whole.
  • Programming in .NET environment
  • Work with the Development team to understand workflow, culture and direction
  • Help conceptualize an ideal system
  • Evaluate build-vs-buy options
  • Write code to implement homegrown tools
  • Evaluate in-house and external hosting options
  • Document, test, deploy, and maintain tools and processes

Minimum Skills & Abilities

  • Ambitious, curious, observant, collaborative, humble, creative and self-starting

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field – Math and/or Physics
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience is ideal; new graduates considered with relevant degree
  • Strong programming and scripting experience
  • Experience deploying web-based services
  • Experience with Windows and macOS platforms
  • Object oriented programming, C#/C++ - .NET/VB.NET environment
  • Coding guru
