The company was founded in 1986. With more than 100 employees, most of them engineers, and with a huge product range, we are one of the largest developers of machine vision components in Europe. In addition to the headquarters in Germany near Stuttgart, we also have an office in the Netherlands, Italy, France, UK and Ireland, Scandinavia and India. Matrix Vision offers a large spectrum of digital cameras – from USB, GigE with PoE to smart cameras with integrated easy configurable machine vision software. A wide range of USB 3.0 cameras with CMOS sensors up to 31 megapixels are provided with the USB3 Vision Standard. At the moment Matrix Vision is going to expand its cost-effective and compact board-level camera series for embedded vision. Since 2017 Matrix Vision is part of the Balluff group.
