During the past 25 years Gal has accumulated a 360 degrees perspective of "The Israeli way of doing Industrial Business", taking roles in general management, marketing, operations, and financing, as an in-house manager and as a consultant. Realizing the huge long-term opportunity of the cobot market, Gal cofounded on 2015 iCobots, Israeli Collaborative Robots, with a mission to bring and deploy the best in class, production, logistics, and healthcare support cobots, to Israel. From its inception, iCobots is doing that successfully and is going through rapid growth. Gal speaks frequently about cobots and entrepreneurship in academic and business forums. Aside of co-managing iCobots, he is also involved in several other business and pro-bono activities. Gal holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Tel Aviv University and a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Swinburne University of Technology. While developing his business career, Gal serves as an IDF reserve Officer, and holds a Lieutenant Colonel rank.
