Keynote Topics and Speakers at CRAV.ai 2019

The opening keynote will be presented by Ben Wolff of Sarcos Robotics on the theme “Human Augmentation Robots for the Automation Age: An Extraordinary Category of Cobots.” Join Christian Friedrich, technology factory and smart factory scientist at SCHUNK, as he explores autonomous robot trends and perspectives. A closing keynote will be delivered on Tuesday by Sankar “Jay” Jayaram of Intel Sports titled “Volumetric Technologies for Future Sports Experiences.”

Wednesday morning starts with “Closing the Perception-Actuation Loop using Machine Learning: New Perspectives and Strategies” presented by Vincent Vanhoucke of Google. Arnie Kravitz, Chief Technology Officer at Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing (ARM) will provide an overview of new and next technology advances in human-robot interaction. Research completed by ARM will identify the key trends, successes, and challenges in human-robot interaction. The conference closes out Wednesday with the keynote address “Present State and Future Directions for Intelligent Vision-Based Collaborative Robots” by Henrik Christensen, Robust.AI and UC San Diego.
