Dear Souptik, Can you perhaps describe your requirements for the camera like: Resolution, Speed (Frames per second), color/mono, CCD or CMOS, Operational system, interface, target price, volume, Libraries you use etc.

So the challenge with your question is there are a number of ways that this can go without putting some bounds around it. I would suggest you determine how big an area you need to look at (height and width) to determine where the small particles are or how big they are. Also what depth of liquid are you looking at? Will you being looking in a bottle, or a glass fish tank type environment? Are the particles visible if a human were to look at them? All the answers to these questions and Ivan's will help others be able to answer further questions.
