There are many possible solutions to meet your need. It is important to understand the tolerances required, speed of motion, distance of the objects to the sensor, presentation of the components as well as the integration requirements of the sensor. Mike, I'm assuming that some of these pins or where the pins are located involve glass. the challenge with glass is getting the right lighting setup so that you can create contrast of the positions you are trying to measure, so that there is a difference between what is good and what is not. Would you be able to send samples to our vision lab, to see if we can help you? Andy
