Cables / Cable Assemblies / Connectors Questions
I have 6 aia AD-080 GE Camera a miried of cables, shutter driver, wagos , synquinet plc, ssystec electronics sysworxx CANopen, and a large amount of other imaging related hardware and software I acquired at a industrial auction. I am interested in setting up a inspection system to view coin and paper currency for the purpose of documentinting and grading the items. I have a degree in automation but without the accompanying wire diagrams I do not k ow what would be required for a simple stationart manual imaging table. How can i find out what works best with these cameras ie wago vs synquinet etc? Do you have any simple drawings or materials involving simple instalations avaable for the public?

Hello. The camera you refer to probably is a JAI AD-080. Please contact the manufacturer at www.JAI.com for details, manuals, and support.
Its difficult to describe what you can do in terms of using equipment that you got during auction, typically the problem defines the types of equipment and specifications of this equipment, but if you want to investigate for academic purposes what can be done with the equipment you have I would do the following: Look at the AIA youtube channel for the training material that will help you pull out the equipment that can help you. Looking through these video's will allow you to get an understanding of why equipment is chosen, and when choosing the right equipment you have more chance of the system being a success. https://youtu.be/Mf5W3M-oirQ - Here is the first video, i would pay particular attention to the lighting that you need for your purposes. Good luck, you may find you have some items that are the correct pieces, but I would be prepared to purchase some others to save you wasted time. Andy
