At each stage in a network, what is the time delay to transfer video imaging and imaging-associated data through a GigE Vision network? What is the size, weight, and power required of each component required in the network? What is the quantity of conversions of the video format required to transfer video images through the network and offboard the network?
Our sensors / Systems don´t work with GigE.
I am looking for equipment and expertise to track the position of a .2 mm dia fluorescent particle in clear fluid contained in a dark 150 mm cubic volume. Will want hardware with software and integrator to interface with display to show track of particle.
With our systems it is not possible to measure the position of an item in this big range (+/- 75 mm).
We are looking for a solution to be able to identify various types of door and windows and measure their height and width, from Architectural floor plans (blueprints). There are no standards how these doors are drawn (no specific model / pattern). These blueprints/ floor plans are only available in somewhat flat PDF’s (no metadata and no vectors). Can anyone give us some suggestions on software we can use?

Which of the vision systems on AIA would you recommend to inspect circular aluminum bars for surface defects? The idea is to use this at the end of the line as the final visual inspection. The parts are fairly large and as such would either have to be rotating to inspect all areas of the bars.
Our systems can be used for geometrical process control. That means, you can determine the position of features. Also we can check the exist of special features like cogs of a wheel etc. Our systems are not made for checking the character of surfaces.

Hello Mr. Raquel, our systems are able to detect damaged bottles and items in bottles. The problem can be the colour of the bottles and the plastic label and a print at the label. We would like to know a literature (book) or a course recomended about machine vision. We are working in a project where the width of steel strip is under measurement. The strip is under movement. We need to specify the correct camera, lens and illumination. Our software is the NI Vision.

I am looking for a system to analyze the diameter of fiberglass filaments. These diameters are in the range of 8 micron to 50 micron. I would like a system to do batch analysis of at least 200 filaments. We are currently operating with a system to measure individual filament using a micro projection unit. I would like to have accuracy of 0.5 microns from the mean. all ideas are appreciated. Thanks you

Hello Mr. Cychosz, We only sell our measurement systems. Furthermore, we don´t know what kind of features should be measured. This information is needed to plan a system which could be used at Paper Machines.
Is there a vision system (and approriate software) that can be used for QC/QA purposes that can quantify:1) the smoothness/roughness of a surface, 2) the distribution of particle sizes (0.5-3 mm) on a surface, 3) the color distribution of particles on the surface, and 4) the area of matrix not covered by particles?
In general, to give a statement of what we are able to measure we need a few images of your item. Usually our 2D systems compare the part which should be measured with a reference part.
