Adaptive Vision GigE SDK

Adaptive Vision GigE SDK is a programmer’s library that can be used to acquire images from GigE Vision compliant cameras. Available functions include everything that is needed – retrieving information about devices available in the network, image acquisition, configuration and access to the device parameters. Simultaneous acquisition from multiple cameras is also supported.
What is important, the image acquisition process is performed in a separate thread with an appropriate frame buffer queue for maximum performance and minimum latency. Moreover, in contrast to some other libraries, Adaptive Vision GigE SDK installs seamlessly on Windows XP, Vista and 7, and does not interfere with other services on your computer.
The product is available as a simple C++ dynamic link library, but use from all .NET languages is also possible. The functionality can be easily tested with a free “Lite” edition of Adaptive Vision Studio graphical programming environment, which also provides quick access to configuration of connected devices.
