Good day, I'm looking for a list of companies able to supply a vision system able to detect on line the presence or absence of an expiry date printed with an ink jet printer. The system should also be able to detect the conformity of the printing (missing dots, distorted dots / character, stained, wrong typo). Can you help me ? Best regards, Olivier

I am working on a project that will be receiving data from an Allied Vision Tech camera (GX2750). This camera has two GigE Vision output ports configured as a Link Aggregation Group(LAG). We need to get this data off of the camera and into an FPGA (we are using Xilinx). We are looking for any off the shelf hardware evaluation boards (and daughter cards if necessary) to capture this data for processing. Any recommendations, or can you point me to vendors that might have a solution to help us out?

I'm interested in sending data to camera without ACK from camera. Does the standard support it? I saw there is a message channel, but its direction is camera to application. Thanks, Tal

Is the IP-Core of the M-Protocol of the Camera Link HS standard capable of 2.1 GB/s per lane, or is it capable of 2.1 GB/s per 7 lanes (so 300 MB/s per lane)? The flyer on the website is not clear about that. (link: http://www.visiononline.org/userAssets/aiaUploads/file/CLHS%20Data%20Sheet%20M%20Protocol.pdf)

Hi, my problem is to control on FPGA the acquisition of information through a Piranha Dalsa P22206k40 linescan by external trigger . Can you tell me the mapping data lines (X0, X1, X2, X3) in terms of pixels, because I found documents with conflicting information? My target is to control the acquisition occurring when the value of FVAL changes. I noticed that at times the pixel clock is regular and sometimes not, this indicates the availability of data? Best Regards, Maria

I am looking for a camera enclosure. I have been currently using a Vizient camera enclosure that is designed for welding applications. I need something that is sealed and water tight so that when the enclosure is mounted on the EOAT of my robot and I am entering a machine tool that is dripping coolant all over my camera doesn't get wet and the lens has a cover to protect from any coolant getting on it as well.

I have some information that I want to send with every frame of video. I am having trouble determining if I need another stream channel separate from the video stream channel for this information or not. I prefer to use an image payload type and have a small amount of information (guessing 64 bytes or less) about the image circumstances at the time sent with it. I'm interested in the most elegant way to accomplish this using the GigE Vision standard. I believe I can do this with 2 separate stream channels, one for image and one for raw data, but this may not be the best way. I had trouble comprehending the spec as far as other ways to do this using one stream channel only. Any insight would be appreciated.

Hi, I'm in a professional crises, I feel that I'm stuck and I need to move forward. I have a strong experience in computer vision software, both with Matlab and C/C++. I've worked on PC using opencv and I've also developed software and hardware based on ADSP-BF533 from Analog. My question is: What is the "moving forward" that I need to start a serious career in Machine vision and what should be my work path. Thanks, Carlos Silva
