I am creating a bracket to hold the camera used by a robot in a parts picking assembly operation. Can you tell me if there is a standard camera mounting configuration/bolt pattern, or a "most common" bolt pattern in use by multiple manufacturers?

We have a Hitachi P-20B CCD camera that we are using for inspection purposes. We are using S-video output. In one of our systems this is being converted to VGA output and then displayed on a small (~5") display. In this case are getting a clean crisp display without pixelation as the parts we are inspecting move through the viewing field. In another application we are trying to take the S-video output from the camera directly into a 15" LCD via the S-video input but we are getting some pixelation issues. Do we simply need a smaller display or do we need to do something else?

I am trying to image an object immersed in water in a clear plastic enclosure at high speeds. It is quite easy to image the object through the plastic enclosure. However, when we image the object through the water in the plastic enclosure, the image is blurred. We are hoping for a solution to this. Is there a water immersion lens that we can use and where can we get it? Any alternative solutions?

Hi I am looking at a vision application in a steel rolling mill and need an enclosure the protect the camera. The environment is hot, dusty and noisy with water and steam in abundance. Ideally I would like a water cooled enclosure, probably with an air-wipe to keep the screen clear. Please could you let me know of any suppliers that supply a suitable enclosure. Any information on the sort of price range I would be looking at would also be very useful Thanks for the help Ben

I'm a student from Norway who works with Camera Link. How is the video data transfered over Camera Link for a Base configuration? I mean how the 28 bits (4 enable + 24 image bits) are transmitted over the 4 LVDS pairs. I assume this is a standard and not depending on camera type. Thanks!
